1 Information We Collect

JetFYP collects the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

"Session only" means data exists only in your browser memory during your active session and is cleared when you close or refresh the page. We do not store this data in any database.

2 TikTok & Instagram Data

When you connect your TikTok account via OAuth, JetFYP requests access to the following TikTok API scopes:

user.info.basic — username, display name, avatar URL
user.info.stats — follower count, following count, video count

🚫 JetFYP does NOT request permission to: post videos, send messages, access your DMs, follow or unfollow accounts, access private videos, or perform any action on your behalf.

Data retrieved from TikTok is used solely within your active browser session to generate personalized content recommendations. It is transmitted to our AI proxy server only to create your content plan and is never stored in a database.

You can revoke jetfyp's access to your TikTok account at any time by going to TikTok → Settings → Security → Authorized Apps.

3 How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

Generate personalized weekly content plans via Claude AI
Analyze and suggest appropriate content categories for your niche
Calculate realistic follower growth milestones
Provide tailored social media strategy tips

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the features described above.

4 Data Sharing & Third Parties

JetFYP shares limited data with the following third parties solely to operate the service:

Anthropic (Claude AI) — Your profile data and content preferences are sent to Anthropic's API to generate content recommendations. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
Vercel — Our hosting provider. Standard server logs (IP address, request metadata) may be retained per Vercel's Privacy Policy.
TikTok — OAuth authentication is handled directly by TikTok. We do not intercept or store your TikTok credentials.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

5 Data Storage & Security

JetFYP is designed with a privacy-first, minimal-storage architecture:

All profile data lives exclusively in your browser's session memory
No user database or persistent storage is maintained by JetFYP
API communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
Your Anthropic API key (if used) is stored in sessionStorage and cleared when you close your browser tab

✅ Because we don't store your data, there is no JetFYP database to breach. Your data never leaves your browser session except for the AI API call to generate your content plan.

6 Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Right to access — Since we don't store personal data, there is no personal data profile to provide
Right to deletion — Refreshing or closing the app immediately clears all session data
Right to revoke TikTok access — Via TikTok Settings → Security → Authorized Apps
Right to opt out — Simply stop using the Service at any time

7 Cookies

JetFYP uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics). We do not use cookies for advertising or user profiling.

The only browser storage used is sessionStorage for temporarily holding your Anthropic API key during an active session — this is not a cookie and is cleared when the tab is closed.

8 Children's Privacy

JetFYP is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
